Five Markets in East Jakarta Are Free From Hazardous Substances

East Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. held integrated food inspection in five traditional markets and one coaching location (Lokbin).

From total 385 samples, all of them are negative from hazardous substances

As a result, there were no foods containing hazardous substances.

"From total 385 samples, all of them are negative from hazardous substances," said Kanto Asri Utami, Head Section of East Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept.'s Food Tenacity, Monday (4/24).

From total 385 food samples, she explained, 167 out of them were from agriculture product, 88 samples were from livestock, and 130 samples were from fishery. 

Those samples were examined at Ciracas Market, Jambul Market, Cibubur Cipayung Market, Kramat Jati Market, Cijantung Market, Rebo Market, and Makasar Lokbin.

"Food inspection will be held continuously until residents feel safe to shop in traditional market," she stated.
